DEXTER – Richard A. Clark, 72, died June 9, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 9, 1932, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Bernice Clark. He graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1952, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver for the State Highway Department, Haley’s Construction Company in Sangerville and later for Dexter Shoe Company in Dexter. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Loretta (Stevens) Clark of Dexter; three sons and their wives, Richard Clark Jr. and Debra of Dexter, Everett Clark of Sabattus, and Raymond Clark and Kathleen of Sangerville; four daughters and their husbands, Debra and Richard Blackwell of Connecticut, Kathy and Randy Ogden of Dexter, Ladonna and Doug Nichols of Dexter, and Joni and Paul Fernald of Detroit; a sister, Bessie and her husband, Roger Gamblin, of Cambridge; a brother, Delbert and his wife, Debbie Burdin, of Cambridge; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal funeral Home, Dexter. <
