FRANKLIN – Richard A. “Ricky” Pung, 54, died Friday, July 28, 2006, at an Ellsworth healthcare facility after a sudden illness. He was born March 30, 1952 in Watertown, N.Y., the son of Ruth (Crabtree) Pung of Franklin and the late Andrew B. Pung. Ricky was employed at the Noyes Tree Farm where he was a field laborer for many years and was also employed by the Agvest Blueberry Co. where he worked as a laborer. He enjoyed socializing with his friends, working on old cars, stock car racing, and gardening, enjoyed listening to music and loved animals. He really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding in his old buggy. In addition to his mother, family members include two daughters, Rachael White and her husband, Scott and Heather Storms and her companion, Travis Mercier; three grandchildren, Bryce White, Kilee White and Rayna Mercier; three brothers, Andrew P. Pung and his wife, Aletha, Gregory P. Pung and wife, Billie Jo and Eddie Pung; a sister, Diane Bickford and her companion, Robert Dow; very special sisters, Barbara Ann MacQuarrie and her husband, Gene and Lorraine Parker and her companion, Barney Smith; several nieces and nephews. He was also survived by special friends, Pete Carney, John and Suzette Noyes, Stanley and Sherri McDevitt, Kevin Tracy and companion, Debbie, Pete, Bobby, Gump, Billy and Greg. He was predeceased by a nephew, Lee Parker. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at the Bayview Cemetery, Franklin.
