BANGOR – Richard A. Violette, 71, passed away Oct. 12, 2005, at Ross Manor. Richard was born in 1934, the son of Hector Violette and Marion (Rich) Violette. Richard enjoyed working in the woods, repairing small engines, and attending church. Richard is survived by two sisters, Pauline Heline and her husband, Doug, of Deer Isle and Vivian Violette of Bangor; two nieces, Rhonda Mitchell and her husband, Corliss, of Deer Isle and Nancy Violette, of Deer Isle; very special great-nieces and nephews, Andrew and Matthew Mitchell, Sarah Kydd Hamilton and her husband, Patrick, of Deer Isle and Joel Kydd and his wife, Helen, of Massachusetts. Richard was predeceased by his father and mother, Hector and Marion Violette; and a brother, Merle Violette. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Abundant Life Church in Bangor.
