SOUTHWEST HARBOR – Richard C. Dublis, 68, died Monday, June 5, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. Born Aug. 28, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Vito J. and Genevieve R. Tallaksen Dublis. In addition to his wife, Janet of Southwest Harbor, Richard is survived by two sons, Wayne Dublis and his wife, Sonia, of Deltona, Fla., Scott Dublis of Southwest Harbor; his granddaughter, Madeline Rose Dublis of Deltona, Fla.; as well as several aunts, cousins and friends. A celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 9, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 175 Down East Highway, Ellsworth, with the Rev. Bruce Meyer officiating. Interment will be after at Seaview Cemetery, Rockport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Development Office, P.O. Box 1638, Bangor, ME 04402. Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, Rockland.
