LEWISTON – Richard Dale Pratt, 73, of 540 College St., died May 8, 2004 at Montello Manor. He was born in Pittsfield, Oct. 14, 1930, the son of Carl and Margurite (Small) Pratt. He had lived most of his life in Augusta and graduated from Cony High School in 1951. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He had worked for many years at the U.S. Postal Service in Augusta until his retirement. He also owned and operated a greenhouse and a mobile home park in Augusta. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 964 in Augusta and the American Legion Post No. 2 in Augusta. He is survived by his former wife, Barbara Pratt of Florida and his daughter, Cheryl Pratt of Taunton, Mass. Funeral services with military honors will be held 12 noon Thursday, May 27, at the Maine Veterans Memorial New Cemetery (Mt. Vernon Rd.), Augusta. Arrangements under the care of the Guy B. Dostie Funeral Home, 101 Pine St., Lewiston.
