EDDINGTON – Richard “Dick” C. Smith, 66, died June 28, 2006, at his home. He was born June 12, 1940, in Greenville, the son of Charles and Lena Smith. Dick worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center for more than 25 years in the engineering department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dick was a Maine history buff especially about his own heritage. He is survived by a son, Richard J. Smith and wife, Nancy, of Baltimore, Ohio; a granddaughter, Sydney K. Smith; three sisters, Lorraine, Charlene and Brenda; a brother, Charles; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be private for the family.
