LEVANT – Richard Joseph Jenkins, 36, died Dec. 24, 2006. He was born Nov. 21, 1970, in Bangor, the son of Richard and Kathleen (Danforth) Dupuis. He enjoyed camping, fishing, music, cooking, and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He worked most of is life as a roofer. He is survived by his two sons, Luke and Dakota, whom he loved very much; his mother, Kathleen Staples and her husband, Carroll, of Levant; father, Richard J. Dupuis and his wife, Iris, of Greenbush; nine brothers and sisters, Kathy Sue True and her husband, Ronald, of Levant, Rodney D. Jenkins of Levant, Henry W. Jenkins of Levant, Maria Brawn and her husband, Lewis, Michael P. Dupuis and his wife, Kathy, of Oregon, Anthony J. Dupuis of Hudson, Chris Gross of New Jersey, Cynthia McFarland of New Jersey and Gina Gross of Milford; 16 nieces and nephews, Shannon, Shawn, Rodney, Jessica, Angie, Henry, Erica, Tiffany, Justin, Hope, MacKenzie, Grace, Megan, Janice, Alyssa and Jillyan. A service of remembrance will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor of Hermon Baptist Church, officiating.
