KNOX – Richard “Duke” Kenney, 75, passed away June 9, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Knox, the son of Leland and Alice Kenney. He grew up in Knox and graduated from Morse Memorial in 1949. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Wanda Kenney of Knox; three daughters, Cathie Cross and husband, Art, of Knox, Tisa Diviney and husband, Patrick, of Dallas and Danine Stratton of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Jim Kenney and wife, Nicole, of Knox; a brother, Robert Kenney and wife, Shir-ley, of Searsport; a sister-in-law, Jocelyn of Searsport; nine grandchildren and many close friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Albert Kenney. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brooks Bible Church, Jewell Street, Brooks, ME 04921.
