MORRILL – Richard “Dickie” O. Gould, 27, of Morrill, died Sunday, May 16, 2004. Born July 13, 1976, in Belfast, he was the son of Richard and Carol Larrabee Gould. He attended Belfast Area High School, graduating in 1996. During all four years in high school he was the quarterback for the Belfast Football Team and in 1996, scored the winning touchdown to win the state crown. Dickie loved to play all sports including football, basketball, baseball, golf and water sports such as boating and water-skiing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, working on pit crews for car racing, spending time with his many friends and loved all children, especially his nieces and nephew. While working in Boston for Guard Mark, he was recognized as the Employee of the Year. He was predeceased by his grandparents; and uncle, Robert Gould, in 2001. He is survived by his parents, Richard G. and Carol Gould of Morrill; a grandmother, Dona Keller of Swanville; one sister, Donna and her husband, Mike Hannan, of Montville; two nieces; Larissa and Katie; one nephew, Cole, all of Montville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Donations preferred to the Belfast Area High School Football, care of Belfast Area High School, 98 Waldo Ave., Belfast, ME 04915. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 20. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 21, at Rackliffe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scott Baker officiating. Private family burial at Grove Cemetery at a later date per family request.
