LINCOLN – Ricky D. Magoon Sr., 51, went to be with the Lord, April 30, 2008, with his sister, Karen; and his children by his side. He was the son of Harry and Mary Magoon of Lincoln. He is survived by his parents; daughter, Wendy Kinney of Lincoln and her significant other, Joe Folster; granddaughters, Morgan Jean Beaulieu and Ciara Lynn Kinney; his only son, Ricky D. Magoon Jr. of Orland and his wife, Kristie; and granddaughter, Emily Lynn Magoon. He also left behind his three sisters, Karen Hall of Stockton Springs, Reajean Craig of Woodstock, Ga., and Lorinda Freeman and husband, Jeff, of Polson Mont.; along with many nieces and nephews. He also left a special friend, Mary Jane Norton of Lincoln. Ricky was predeceased by his grandfather, Lloyd Magoon and grandmother, Avis Magoon of Mattawamkeag; a brother, Lloyd Wilfred Magoon, along with his niece, Nikia Carr. Some family members will not be attending the funeral services being held. Therefore, a memorial service will be held for family and friends to celebrate their love for Ricky 1 p.m. May 17 at Community Evangel Temple, Access Road, Lincoln, with Kevin Hatch officiating, along with other guests.
