FORT KENT – Rita Morneault, 81, died Sept. 30, 2004, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. She was born March 6, 1923, in Les Eltroits, Quebec Providence, the daughter of Alcide and Levenie (Michaud) Albert. Rita was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Senior Citizen Club, both of Fort Kent. She is survived by her five children, Guy and his wife, Angela Morneault, both of Fort Kent, Mike and his wife, Diane Morneault, both of Fort Kent, Dana and his wife, Pamila Morneault, both of Memphis, Tenn., Joyce and her husband, Leanard Viel, both of St. Francias, N.B., Jeanne Morneault of Oakland, Tenn.; one brother, Armand Albert of Baker Brook, N.B. Canada; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Morneault in 1983. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent 1 p.m. Friday until time of funeral service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 4 p.m. Friday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery.
