EAST BOSTON, Mass. – Robert A. Cormier, 50, formerly of Presque Isle died Sept. 27, 2005, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston following a long illness. He was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Presque Isle, the son of Joseph and Berneice (Kimball) Cormier. He graduated from PIHS, Class of 1973. Bob was a police dispatcher for the Boston Police Department from 1997-March 2005; was a dispatcher for the Bangor Police Department from 1989-1996 and for Continental Airlines prior to 1996. He is survived by two daughters, Michele Cormier of Gorham, Amy Cormier and her fianc?, Christopher Turner, of Presque Isle; a brother, Merle Cormier and his wife, Dorothy, of Mapleton; two sisters and their husbands, Nancy and Richard Cullins of Casco, Linda and Carlton Brewer of Old Town; three grandchildren, Ashley, Brittney and McKenzie; several long time friends; Shawn Bagley, Jeffrey Bouchard, Tito Escobar, Michael Fulchini, David Small and Roger Vine. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Berneice Cormier. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Main Street, Presque Isle with the Rev. Raymond Morency officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s North Main Street Catholic Cemetery followed by a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Robert A.
