OLD TOWN and BANGOR Robert C. Sevigny, 53, passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at a Brewer nursing facility. He was born Jan. 2, 1952, in Bangor, son of the late Henry and Ann (Murphy) Sevigny. Bobby attended Ralph Leek Elders Program in Bangor. He enjoyed going on “Bowling” and “Soda” outings with his friends. He was involved in the Spring and Summer Special Olympics, having won many metals and ribbons. Bobby enjoyed playing basketball at the YWCA as well as playing the roll of a “conductor” during singing group. If there was a loose pen around, Bobby was known for a quick snag to jokingly keep it for himself. While residing at Branches LLC, he enjoyed participating in agency functions and spending time with his friends. Everyone enjoyed being in Bobby’s presence. He will always be remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his two brothers, Michael Sevigny of Old Town and Billy Marquis of Port Deposit, Md.; sister, Barbara Dionne of Old Town. He is also survived by his two special nieces, Crystal Gastia of Milford and Carin Dionne of Bradley; special nephew, Sean Sevigny of Bradley and many cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Parish in Old Town with the Rev. Bill Labbe, Celebrant. Committal will be held at the Milford Cemetery following the Mass. Family and friends are invited back to the Holy Family Parish Hall following the committal for a luncheon and continued fellowship.
