ROBERT COLLINGS HALL HOULTON – Robert C. Hall, 89, died Oct. 3, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1914, at Los Angeles, Calif., the son of Robert Lincoln and Florence (Collings) Hall. Bob served with the U.S. Air Force and was employed with American Airlines for 42 years. He was very active in and about the town of Houlton. He was member and chairman of the Houlton Planning Board and the Tax Abatement Board, member of the Houlton Comprehensive Planning Board, chairman of the Airport Advisory Board and a member of the Houlton Cable Committee Board and 911 Planning Board. Bob was very active in Kiwanis International since 1958, serving as chairman and member on many Kiwanis Committees. He also was very active in Rotary International, receiving the Paul Harris Fellow Award and serving as president of the Houlton Club 1983-1984. From 1981 until 1990, Bob was a member of the board of directors of the Southern Aroostook Association for Retarded Citizens, now the Community Living Association. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Hogan) Hall of Houlton; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 12 noon Tuesday until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home.
