VAN BUREN and MADAWASKA – Robert D. Cote, 46, died unexpectedly Jan. 22, 2004, at his Van Buren residence. He was born July 1, 1957, in Madawaska, the son of Fred and Agatha (Beaulieu) Cote. He was employed as a carpenter for most of his life. In addition to his mother, Agatha of Madawaska. Bob is survived by two daughters, Sharon Cote and Ashley Cote, both of Broad Brook, Conn.; two sons, Scott Trombley of East Windsor, Conn., and Gary Cote of Broad Brook, Conn.; two brothers, Francis Cote of Franklin, N.H., and Brian Cote of Clover, S.C.; three sisters, Julie Kowalczyk of Bayonne, N.J., Marge Parent of Grand Isle, and Diane Ouellette of Vernon, Conn.; two half-sisters, Theresa Hagwood of Portsmouth, Va., and Pauline Benner of Lake San Marcos, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Fred Cote; one brother, Mark Cote; and by a half-brother, Louis Cote. Relatives and friends may call at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 12 High St., Van Buren, from 1 p.m. until time of service on Monday. A funeral mass will be celebrated 3 p.m. Monday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in the St. David Cemetery.
