CALAIS – Robert D. Foster Jr., died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, surrounded by his loving family, at a Bangor hospital. Bobby was born Feb. 9, 1958, in Calais. His 49 years were spent in a community where he found no stranger, only an opportunity to make a new friend. Bobby loved to visit the fire department and the public works department with his dad to see the trucks and to talk to the guys. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his family and all the friends that he has made throughout the years. He is survived by his loving father and mother, Robert and Mabel Foster of Calais; his brothers, Pete and his wife, Cheryl, of Calais and Kevin and his wife, Kathy, of Bangor; sister and family friend, Jane of Calais; nieces, Erin, Julie, Tracie, Tonya, and Katie; a nephew, Robbie; two great-nieces, three great-nephews, many aunts and uncles. There will be a private graveside burial. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais.
