EAGLE LAKE – Robert J. “Bob” Martin, 64, died suddenly May 25, 2004, in Eagle Lake. He was born in Eagle Lake, Oct. 20, 1939, the son of Claude and Cynthia (Clavette) Martin. He was a member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus of Eagle Lake and a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Parish of Eagle Lake. Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Bob is survived by his mother, Cynthia Martin of Eagle Lake; his beloved wife and long time companion, Jen Kelly Martin of Eagle Lake; one sister, Ann Bragdon of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; two special daughters, Kristen Kelly LeClerc and son-in-law, Pat of Haverhill, Mass. and Deirdre Kelly Audibert and son-in-law, Cliff of Fort Kent; one special grandson, Alex Michael LeClerc; two nieces, Susan Bragdon Brocker of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. and Linda Martin Wood of Eagle Lake; three nephews, Steven and Stuart Bragdon of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. and Ralph Martin of Orlando, Fla.; two special cousins, Jane and Clarence Stevens and a Godchild, Debbie Nason of Whiting. Bob was predeceased by his father, Claude Martin and his brother, Glenn Martin; his first wife, Lorene (Caron) Martin and children, Danny, Lisa, Cynthia, Scott, Charles and Billy Martin. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, 7-9 a.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of departure for Eagle Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake, with the Rev. Clement Thibodeau officiating. Those who wish may donate in his memory to Robert J. Martin Forestry Scholarship Fund, care of FKCHS, 84 Pleasant St., Fort Kent; or the NMMC Cardiac Fund, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743; or to St. Mary’s Memorial Fund, P.O.
