BREWER and ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Robert W. Mann, 96, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. He was born Sept. 23, 1909, in Brewer, and moved to St. Petersburg in 1967 from Oreland, Pa. Robert was a retired pharmaceutical sales representative for Burroughs Wellcome in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, in Florida. Survivors include two sons, Robert W. Mann Jr. of South Burlington, Vt. and Frederick I. Mann of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren, Robert Mann III of Colchester, Vt. and Evelyn Johnson of Burlington, Vt.; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb and Jessica; one brother, Lloyd J. Mann of Brewer; two nieces, Catherine Boynton of Brewer and Kathleen Mann of Bangor. Friends are welcome to call 10-12 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Brookings-Smith, Clark Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where a prayer service will be held at noon with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, officiating. Interment with committal prayers will follow at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
