PROSPECT and MACHIAS Robert Wayne Heath, 65, died Oct. 26, 2006, at a Bangor nursing facility. He was born Aug. 30, 1941, on Verona Island, son of Elwood S. and Mila M. (Smith) Heath. He worked for many years at Champion Paper Co., Bucksport, and was a former member of the Pownal Masonic Lodge No. 119, Stockton Springs. He is survived by three sons, Brent of Lamoine, Robert of Florida and Doug of Orland; one daughter, Carla of Blue Hill; special grandson, Timmy of Blue Hill; two brothers, Sheldon Heath Sr. of Orland and Harland Grant of Bucksport; two sisters, Gloria Ashley of Verona Island and Barbara Rhines of Stockton Springs; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Machias Memorial Gym, Machias. Donation may be made in his memory to the Athletic Department, Machias Memorial Gym, Machias, ME 04654.
