HOULTON – Roger B. Lincoln Sr., 96, died April 2, 2008, at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1911, in Houlton, the son of Levi B. and Sarah A. (Jackson) Lincoln. Roger was a member of First Congregational Church, UCC. He was a past master and longtime secretary of Monument Lodge No. 96, AF & AM, a member of the York and Scottish Rite Masonic bodies and Anah Temple Shrine. He was a past patron of the former Fidelity Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Lunar Chapter in Presque Isle. Roger is survived by his son, Roger Jr. and his wife, Dianne, of Houlton; his daughter, Ruth “Betty” Anderson and her husband, William, of Orient; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Ruth; his brother, Frank; and his sister, Alice Leanhard. There will be a memorial service at the convenience of the family and interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
