PRESQUE ISLE – Roger J. Long, 57, died May 15, 2005, at his Presque Isle residence. He was born Aug. 27, 1947, at Fort Kent, the son of Herby and Marion (Pelletier) Long. He was a communicant of St. Mary’ Catholic Church, Presque Isle. Roger was employed as a truck driver with Wetterau IGA Food Distribution for 13 years and with Conway Central Express for more than eight years. He was a member of the Bishop Daniel J. Feeney Assembly 4th Degree, Knights of Columbus. Roger was an avid New England Patriots fan and he enjoyed golfing and karaoke. In addition to his parents, Mr. Long was predeceased by two sisters, Annette Duprey and Lena “Dean” Morin. He is survived by his wife, Robertine “Tina” (Dumond) Long of Presque Isle; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Debbie Long of Colchester, Conn., Kim and Leslie Long of Brewer, Scott and Kristy Long of Lexington, Ky.; three brothers, Harold Long of Topsfield, Darold Long of Berlin, Conn., Larry Long of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Taylor, Derek, Zackary and Kyle. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Main Street, Presque Isle. Interment will follow at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, East Main Street, Fort Kent.
