DOVER-FOXCROFT – Roger W. Willis, 92, husband of the late Jeanette (Steiner) Willis, died Nov. 5, 2004, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born July 18, 1912, in Bound Brook, N.J., the son of George and Gladys (Wheeler) Willis. Roger retired from Sherwin Williams in Chicago in 1975. His retirement was spent gardening, traveling, and volunteering. In 2002, he was honored by the New England Red Cross for his many years of blood and platelet donations. He is survived by two daughters, Jenny Willis of Elk Grove Village, Ill., and Andrea W. Myers of Atkinson; two brothers, John Willis and his wife, Peter, of Belfast, Gibbson Willis and his wife, Bertine, of Framingham, Mass.; two sisters, Barbara Heinrick of Bay Town, Texas, Harriet Williams of Hayward, Mass.; three wonderful grandchildren, Tracy Mack and her husband, David, of Elk Grove Village, Ill., Thann Killian of Rockton, Ill., Patrick Myers and his wife, Teresa, of Sebec. Roger was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Ian and Sean Mack of Elk Grove Village, Ill. Friends and family are invited to share fellowship and remembrances from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Roger’s home at 73 Summer St., Dover-Foxcroft. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to either Pine Tree Hospice, 897 West Main St., Dover-Foxcroft 04426, or to Red Cross Blood Services, New England Region, 524 Forest Avenue, Portland 04101. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
