MADAWASKA – Roland Couturier, 89, died Nov. 26, 2004, at a Madawaska nursing home. He was born April 3, 1915, in Frenchville, the son of Willie and Lizzie Anne (Fongemie) Couturier. He was a retired Fraser Paper Ltd. employee, having been employed there for 33 years. He is survived by his wife, Aline (Fournier) Couturier of Madawaska; one son, Jean Marc Couturier and his wife, Florence, of Riviere Verte, N.B., Canada; one sister, Martine Ouellette of St. Agatha; two grandchildren, Jamie and Melissa Couturier. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the St. Thomas Church. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
