BANGOR – Ronald Allen Cooper, 62, a resident of Bangor, died unexpectedly Feb. 12, 2008, in Greenville. He served in the Vietnam War. He worked in social services, was an advocate for the needy, and also helped with Special Olympics. Ronald leaves behind a father, Joseph C. Cooper; two brothers, Rick and Steve; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Cromwell Cooper. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews. A memorial picnic will be held noon-3 p.m. June 7 at 40 Walter St., Bangor.
