HOULTON – Ronald E. Botting, 76, died Jan. 2, 2006, at Houlton. He was born Jan. 21, 1929, in Houlton, the son of Fielder “Teal” and Florence (Rockwell) Botting. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by one daughter, Laura Wirtz and her daughter, Jenilee; one son, Lawrence Botting and his son, Nathan, all of Connecticut; three brothers, Owen and Gloria Botting of Island Falls, Neil Botting of Ludlow, Leon and Judy Botting of Island Falls; one daughter, Kathleen and Lawrence Parks of Houlton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Mary Boutilier; and one brother, Dale. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the connivance of the family at Linneus Cemetery.
