RONALD P. MOLLISON BELFAST – Ronald P. Mollison, 72, passed away Nov. 3, 2007, in Belfast. He was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Brooks, the son of Allan and Doris (Prime) Mollison. He trucked for Allan Mollison and was employed by C.A. Paul & Son for 23 years. He also worked for Maine Department of Transportation for 14 years and retired from there in 1998. He was a 50-year member and past master of Marsh River Lodge No. 102 AF & AM, Brooks. He coached Little League in Belfast and was a member of Belfast Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting with friends and carpentry. Ronald was one of the founding members of the Mad Dogs of Terror motorcycle club and was an avid motorcyclist and snowmobiler. Ronald was also a stock car owner and enthusiast. He camped all along the East Coast of the United States with friends. He was predeceased by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Clairene S. Mollison of Belfast; his children, Connie Mollison-Vanier and husband, Vincent, of Madawaska and Cressey Mollison and wife, Kristin, of Gorham; grandchildren, Jillian and Hailey, and Kevin and Kaci; Darwin Thompson of West Levant; and the crew at the Hogan Road transportation garage. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where Masonic services will be held 7 p.m. Those who wish may make donations in Ronald’s memory to Waldo County General Hospital, 118 Northport Ave., Belfast, ME 04915.
