WINTERPORT and PROSPECT – Ronnie A. Mitchell, 35, husband of Sandra A. Mitchell, passed on to his eternal home, unexpectedly, June 11, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1968, in Bangor, the son of Gregory D. Mitchell, Sr. and Linda M. (Swift) Mitchell. Ronnie had worked at Penobscot Frozen Foods for the last nine years and will be remembered as a hard worker. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend, his wife of eight years, Sandra (Doyer) Mitchell; his beloved daughter, Miranda A. Mitchell; his mother, Linda M. Mitchell; and his father, Gregory D. Mitchell Sr.; a brother, Gregory D. Mitchell Jr. and Shannon Ouellette; grandparents, William and Maddie Swift and Ida Mitchell; one nephew, Nicholas Z. Mitchell. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Charles Mitchell. Ronnie leaves a legacy of being a loving, husband and father, who adored his daughter, Miranda, he loved having fun and playing games with her, and he will be missed very much by Sandra and Miranda, he was great, he was our life. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday.
