ALEXANDER – Rodney P. Frost, 52, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at a Bangor hospital, after a battle with cancer. He was born in Alexander in 1951, the son of Pliney E. Frost and Louise Flood-Frost. Rodney worked a variety of jobs through out his life; a favorite of his was cutting wood. Among the things he enjoyed most in life were his much-loved horse, Lucky, drinking coffee and long conversations at the local store with friends. The source of his greatest pride was his tour of duty in Vietnam for the U.S. Army. He is survived by one sister, Brenda McPhail and husband, Herbert, of Perry; one half brother, Timothy Frost and his wife, Carolyn, of Wawig, New Brunswick; four half sisters, Terri Spooner and her husband, Darrell, of Castle Hill, Melonie Frost-Wells of Troy, Ill., Kimberly Frost of Troy Ill., and Lisa Gardiner of Presque Isle; one stepsister, Geri Jones and husband, Harold, of Caribou; three stepbrothers, Joel Craft of Washburn, Lester Craft and wife, Drena, of Caribou, Roger Craft and wife, Diane, of Calais. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by lifelong friend and uncle, Howard (Pike) Seavey; and good friend, Celia Caruso. He was predeceased by both parents. The date of the graveside service will be announced at a later date.
