BRIDGEWATER – Rosemond M. DeLong, 68, died Feb. 29, 2004, at the Aroostook Medical Center. She was born Jan. 25, 1936, in Littleton, the daughter of Ray and Ida (Yxera) Foster. She graduated from Houlton High School and worked as a CNA at the Mars Hill Nursing Home until her retirement. She was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly in Bridgewater. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Collins and her friend, Bob Collins, of Mars Hill, Wanda Guiggey and her husband, Mitchell, of Mapleton, Marsha Morrow and her husband, Ken, of Presque Isle; two sons, John DeLong and his wife, Denise, and Gary DeLong, all of Bridgewater; 10 grandchildren, Jamie Chandler, Kristen Guiggey, Rob and Brittany Collins, Megan, Carter and Jason DeLong, Renee DeLong, Cody and Kyle DeLong; two brothers, Merle Foster of Linneus and Dana Foster of Littleton; a sister, Margaret Carpenter of Houlton. She will be remembered by her best friend, Doris McKenzie. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, John H. DeLong. Relatives and friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Full Gospel Assembly in Bridgewater. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church, with the Rev. Garren Hanley officiating. Spring interment will be in Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in her memory to the charity of their choice.
