FORT FAIRFIELD – Walter T. Doughty, 91, husband of Verna H. Doughty, died Feb. 26, 2004, at a Mars Hill healthcare facility following a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, at the Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield, with Asa Cook officiating. Interment will take place at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, later in the spring. A time of fellowship with refreshments will be held at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield, immediately following the funeral service.
