HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. – Russell Clifford Eustice died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at his home in Hillsbo-rough, N.C. Born in Hackensack, N.J., Mr. Eustice grew up in Hindsdale, Ill. He was a graduate of Tabor Academy in Marion, Mass., and received degrees from Colgate University and American University. Mr. Eustice served for three and a half years with the U.S. Army during World War II. Founder and president of Mid-Atlantic Associates in Wheaton, Md., he retired to Maine in 1978 and taught at Husson College for 11 years. Mr. Eustice was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Winter Harbor Lodge, Anah Temple, Bangor and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 9100, Chapel Hill, N.C. He is survived by his wife, Veronica Eustice; sons, Russell and his wife, Mary, of Gaithersburg, Md., David and his wife, Jessica, of Durham, N.C. and Paul of Bucksport; and his grandson, James of Gaithersburg, Md. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, at Hillsborough United Methodist Church. A service of remembrance is being planned for Gouldsboro.
