BLACKVILLE, S.C. – Ruth Evans Woodman, 76, wife of Russell Woodman, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at her home. Born in Brookfield, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Elijah F. and Essie Campbell Evans. She was a graduate of Norman Junior College, Class of 1949. She was a former substitute teacher at the Barnwell County Vocational Center. She was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God in Barnwell, S.C. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Russell Woodman of Blackville, S.C.; two sons, Ivan and Edna Woodman of Houston, Miss. and Mark Woodman of Barnwell, S.C.; a daughter, Pam and Roger Stephens of Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Eugene Evans of Tifton, Ga.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mole Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Eller and James Hunnicutt officiating. Burial will be after in Barnwell County Memory Gardens, Reynolds Road. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at Mole Funeral Home, Barnwell, S.C.
