STEUBEN and MILBRIDGE Ruth M. (Adriance) Faulkingham, 76, died May 17, 2008, at Narraguagus Bay Health Care Facility, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Dennysville, the daughter of the late Beatrice (McCallum) Stanwood and the late Philmore Stanwood of Steuben. Ruth enjoyed antiquing and yard sales. She ran an antique shop in Steuben for eight years called Amy’s Place. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing the drums and singing. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ruth was a very generous and loving person. She is survived by her son, Forest L. Faulkingham and fiancee, Kelly; son-in-law, Samuel L. Wallace; sisters, Harriet Pinkham and husband, Thurston, Shirley Stanwood and Theresa (Stanwood) Leach; brothers, Philmore Stanwood Jr., Arthur Stanwood, Clifford Stanwood and wife, Sandy, and Gary Stanwood and wife, Joanie; grandchildren, Charles Wallace, Amy Houck, Tricia Trundy, Joanie Wallace, Forest C. Faulkingham and Justin Faulkingham; four great-grandchildren, many neices and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Faulkingham; her daughter, Rita M. Wallace; and a sister, Maxine Curtis. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. June 7 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Steuben.
