BANGOR – Ruth M. Estes, 75, wife of the late Elmer H. Estes, died on June 5, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Charles Alden and Annie May (Parsons) Banker Sr., Ruth is survived by two brothers, Richard Banker of Thorndike, and Norman Banker of California; one sister, Margaret Martin of Manchester, Conn.; sisters-in-law, Mary Banker of Saco, and Thelma Banker of Birmingham, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Banker Jr. and Clarence Banker; and two sisters, Ellen Hardy and Alice Lord. Private interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Blue Hill. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
