BREWER – Ruth V. Copp, 88, died July 28, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Jan. 16, 1916, in Island Falls, the daughter of George and Florence (Evans) Armour. Ruth was a lover of books and an avid reader. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Ruth Jones of Halsey, Ore.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five nieces, including a very special niece, Virginia Prescott of Orrington; one nephew; and two very special friends, Barbara and Dorothy Ring of Brewer.
