WINSLOW – Ryan Guthrie, 9, of Joe Avenue died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at Maine Medical Center in Portland as the result of injuries sustained in a multi-car accident Monday in Falmouth. He was born June 10, 1996, in Laconia, N.H., the son of Peter and Tammy (Quirion) Guthrie. Ryan attended fourth grade at the Winslow Elementary School. He was a member of The Cub Scouts Pack 471 in Fairfield and also Huards Karate School. He is survived by his mother, Tammy Guthrie of Winslow; his father and step-mother, Peter and Joanne Guthrie of Londonderry, N.H.; maternal grandparents, Roland and June Quirion of Benton; paternal grandmother, Eleanor Guthrie of Ellsworth; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special aunts, Kathy Colwell and Paula and husband, John Corey, all of Winslow and Renee Quirion of Amsbury, Mass. Public visiting hours will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver St., Waterville. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville.
