ELLSWORTH – Sally A. (Chojnowski) Bouffard, 66, died peacefully at 10:25 p.m. Dec. 5, 2003, with family at her side at an Ellsworth hospital. Sally was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Gardner, Mass., the daughter of Joseph and Carolyn (Truhil) Chojnowski. She was the youngest of eight children. Sally graduated from Bentley School of Accounting and Finance and for a number of years, was the historian of the Delta Omega Sorority. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Ellsworth and was also an active member in the Ellsworth Business and Professional Women’s Club. She owned a franchise of H & R Block for numerous years and also, along with her husband, owned and operated Acadia Air for 21 years. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the friends and family for all the cards and expressionS of love over this past years. The love and prayers were deeply appreciated. Sally is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Robert A. Bouffard; son, Paul R. Bouffard of Ellsworth; two daughters, Paula Shields and her husband, James of Dedham, Tina Bouffard of Ellsworth; her wonderful grandchildren, Zachary James, Whitney Lynn and Emily Ann Shields, all of Dedham; two brothers, Leo Chojnowski of Baldwinville, Mass., Ted Chojnowski of Gardner, Mass.; three sisters, Mary MacIntosh of Kennebunk, Genny Sanderland of Gardner, Mass. and Theresa Divirgilo of Baldwinville, Mass. Friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Friday at Jordan Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, High Street, Ellsworth with the Rev. Lou Philips officiating.
