BANGOR – Sandy L. Arsenault, 52, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 6, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 4, 1955, in Bangor, the daughter of Frank and Roberta Blaisdell of Glenburn. Sandy was raised in Hampden and attended schools there and graduated from Hampden Academy. Sandy married Paul Arsenault of Glenburn, August 1979. She held many different jobs in her lifetime, mostly all secretarial in nature. She enjoyed spending time reading books, watching movies and going for drives. Sandy loved pictures and was the “memory keeper” of the family. Towards the end of her life, she was on disability and could no longer work. However, she spent most of her free time taking care of elderly neighbors and family. She had a giving heart and was always there to help. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and will always hold an angel’s place in the heart of her very special grandson, Donovan, whom she helped raise. Surviving are her parents of Glenburn; two daughters, Jenn Arsenault of Old Town and Kristen Arsenault and her hus-band, Evan and son, Donovan, all of Lamar, Ark.; a sister, Brenda Blaisdell and her husband, Doug, of Clifton Park, N.Y.; two brothers, Larry Jordan and his wife, Margaret, of Newburgh and Brent Jordan and his wife, Gloria, of China; three nieces and one nephew. Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Brook-ings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Stephanie Salinas, pastor of First Baptist Church, Bangor, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call noon until time of service Wednesday. Gifts in memory of Sandy may be sent to an educational fund for her beloved grandson, Donovan, care of Kristen Arsenault, 161 South Hughes Road, Lamar, AK 72846.
