GRAND ISLE – Lionel Parker, 76, died Sept. 7, 2007, at a Caribou hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1930, in Campbellton, New Brunswick, the son of Edmund and Eva (Goulet) Parker. He is survived by one daughter, Sue Ouellette of Car-ibou; three sons, Alan Parker and his wife, Gail, of Jefferson, Mike Parker and his wife, Carol, of Grand Isle and Ken Parker and his longtime companion, Michelin Plante; two brothers, Elmer Parker of Dalhousie, New Brunswick, and Maurice Parker of Ontario; three sisters, Lola Dufour of Madawaska, Rosie Coulombe of Dalhousie, New Brunswick, and Rachel Poirier of Toronto; nine grandchildren, Erik, Andrew, Valerie, Shawn, Amy, Todd, Jennifer, Danielle and Jonathan; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeannine (Mich-aud) Parker in 1997; by one brother, Everett Parker; and by two sisters, Gert and Eva. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. Friends and relatives may call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Gerard Cemetery.
