LIMESTONE – Sarah M. Harvey, 80, died Aug. 1, 2006, at her home. She was born May 25, 1926, in Limestone, the daughter of Kenneth and Iva (Levesque) Butler Sr. She was a member of the Limestone United Methodist Church. Sarah had been employed as the head cook at the Limestone school department for 26 years and was a member of Goodwill Chapter No. 85. Surviving her is her husband of 63 years, Mahlon C. “Bud” Harvey of Limestone; three sons, Stanford Harvey of McClenny, Fla., Jeffery Harvey of Cross Lake and Bruce Harvey of East Waterboro; two daughters, Jacquline Iravando and Joyce Rolph, both of Limestone; brothers, Kenneth Jr. of Caribou, Otis of Plainville, Conn., George of Frenchville and Arthur of Caribou; two sisters, Helen and Barbara, both of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Lancaster & Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at the Limestone United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ellen Cleaves officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that gifts in her memory be sent to Visiting Nurses of Aroostook and Hospice of Aroostook, P.O. Box 688, Caribou, ME 04736.
