PENOBSCOT and TREMONT Sarah Margaret Nice, 90, died March 5, 2008, at a Penobscot health care facility. She was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Bangor, the daughter of Jeremiah and Florence (Sutherland) Mulroney. She was a graduate of Stearns High, Millinocket, Oak Grove School for Girls, with the Citizenship Award and a graduate of Normal School. Sarah was a former member of Millay Study Club and Willing Workers of McKinley. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of West Tremont and for many years, was the pianist for Pythian Sisters Lodge. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Arlene Donovan; a cousin, Lorraine Mulroney; special friends, Doris Reed and Gertrude Schmidt; several nieces and nephews. Sarah was predeceased by her husband, Millard Nice; and by her brother, Vaughn Mulroney. Funeral services will be announced in the spring.
