WILTON and MOLUNKUS Shane E. Dwyer, 33, of Wilton, died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Central Maine Medical Center. Shane was born June 5, 1974, in Millinocket, the beloved son of Emery and Jean Dwyer of Molunkus. He left the three most important women in his life, his wife, Karri (McLaughlin); and his two daughters that meant everything to him, MacKenzie Ireland, 10 and Ryleigh Shane, 7. Shane has one brother that he always looked up to, Shannon Dwyer of Gray and his wife, Sandi; and two wonderful nieces, Whitney and Lilly. He will also be missed by a special grandfather, Clinton Kinney and his wife, Evelyn, of Danforth; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Norma Thomp-son of Medway; brother-in-law, Troy Thompson and his wife, Samantha, of Millinocket, and their children, Emily, Bryce, Ayden and Nehemiah; and a very special sister-in-law, Lacey Bourgoin and her husband, Mark, of Hinesville, Ga. Lacey was the sister he never had. Shane was a 1992 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy, Lincoln, attended Maine Maritime Academy and received his Bachelor of Science degree in power engineering technology in 1996. He was employed for the last eight years by Rumford Power and was recently promoted to maintenance man-ager, a job he loved. Shane was a huge part of the Wilton Recreation Department. He adored working with all the kids in various sports. From his softball girls, all whom he loved as if they were his own, to his pee wee soccer team and tee ball team, his face would light up when he would talk about all his “kids.” He was truly proud of each and every one of them. He is going to be deeply missed by some very special friends who truly touch-ed his life, Dana Underwood, Mike Earle, Justin Castagna and his best friend, Rebecca Scott. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
