SHEILA M. COGSWELL VANCEBORO – Sheila M. Cogswell, 59, died peacefully April 28, 2004, at a Bangor hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 11, 1945, in Millinocket, the daughter of Verdi and Alice Grass. Sheila enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing cards, hunting birds, fishing and riding the old back roads; camping with her Mom and very special friend, Val LaBlanc, down by the river; and feeding the wild geese. The river was her very special place. She was predeceased by her father, Verdi Grass. She is survived by her mother, Alice Grass of Lambert Lake; her husband, Manford Cogswell of McAdam, New Brunswick; her very special friend, Val LaBlanc of Vanceboro; three brothers, Lenwood Grass and his wife, Norma, of Lambert Lake, Gilbert Grass and his wife, Barbara, of Lambert Lake, and William Grass and his wife, Judith, of Lambert Lake; two sisters, Grace Monk and her husband, Carlton, of Codyville and Leola Beach and her husband, David, of Lambert Lake; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Vanceboro Cemetery. Luncheon will follow at the Vanceboro Methodist Church.
