SEDGWICK – Sherwood William Elder, 79, died at a Bangor hospital, April 7, 2004. He was born Aug. 19, 1924, in Bar Harbor, the son of Elizabeth (Smith) Elder. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa and her husband, Arthur Govoni, of Sedgwick, Sharon Cusolito of Falmouth, Mass.; a son, Brian Elder and his wife, Katherine, of Falmouth, Mass.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and one sister, Barbara Jackson of Hermon. Visiting hours will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2004, at the Healey Funeral Home, South Street, Blue Hill. Friends may make gifts in Sherwood’s memory to the Peninsula Ambulance Corp., Water St., Blue Hill.
