HERMON and HOULTON – Shirley M. Toner, 72, died Nov. 11, 2005, at her Hermon residence. She was born Dec. 13, 1932, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Raymond V. and Luella May (Hoffses) Langley. Shirley was very proud of the family she had raised. She worked as an office manager, a poker dealer in Reno and as a hostess for three top restaurants in Maine before retiring. Shirley is survived by her husband, Jack Toner, of Hermon; her children, Daine and Joe Neadeau of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Mike and Linda Dunn of Presque Isle, Pam and Robin Geese of South Portland, Vickie and Lester Jondreau of Presque Isle, Steve and Linda Dunn of Bangor; her brother, Carl Langley, of Presque Isle; her stepchildren, Keith and Joanne Toner, Theresa Toner, John Toner, Lauria and David Saunders, Wendy and Doug Tapley, Ed and Carol Toner; 27 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her very special sister-in-law whom she thought of as her sister, Nellie Langley; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Donald, Clayton and Perley Langley. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle, with Fr. Robert Vaillancourt celebrant.
