ELLSWORTH – Stanley Weglinski, 85, died at his residence, June 28, 2005. He was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., the son of Marcel and Anastasia (Barszczewski) Weglinski. Stanley attended schools in Poughkeepsie and served in the Army Air Force as a liaison pilot during World War II. After discharge, he worked as an electrician. He was a member of I.B.E. W Local No. 215, now No. 363, Rogers Point Boat Club, Pirate Canoe Club, Shamrock Club, Polish Club and American Legion. He enjoyed boating, skiing, fishing, hiking and bird watching. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Rose; a daughter, Stacey Ann; sons, John Brock, William Eric, Charles Albert and Robert Louis; brothers, Walter, Thaddeus, Edward, Eugene, John; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Charlotte and Elizabeth. He was predeceased by brothers, Joseph and John Casimir; and a sister, Mary Anderson. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
