MAINE and NEW HAMPSHIRE Stephen W. Borodko, 49, his body left us July 12, 2007, but his soul is in peace and healing, while watching over us. He spent his early years in Millinocket, later moving to Bangor where graduated from Bangor High. He was a police officer in New Mexico for years, and also in Maine. He then worked at Dennis Paper prior to making his final residence in New Hampshire. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, charm, and caring heart. He will be sadly missed by his daughter who he adored, Kayla Thurston and her mother, Kathy, of Old Town; mother, Geraldine Borodko of New Hampshire; sisters, Ellen Boze-man and Jim of Millinocket, and Anne Kremer and Steve of California; nephews, John-Stephen Borodko, James and Thomas Boseman, Anthony and Andrew Kremer, and Freddie Paz. He was predeceased by his father, John L. Borodko; brother, John Borodko Jr. A celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m. Sunday, July 29, at Northern Timbers Club, Millinocket.
