SANGERVILLE – Steven B. McAlpine, 49, died May 6, 2004, at his home in Sangerville. He was born June 5, 1954, in Carroll Plantation, son of James and Lois (Worster) McAlpine Sr. He was the manager of the Dexter Family Dollar Store. He is survived by his mother of Webster Plantation; his wife, Lisa McAlpine; and their five children, Laura, Scott, Jaboa and Tiffie of Sangerville, and Stacy, and his first granddaughter, Makenzie, of Guilford; a sister, Joyce McLaughlin; three brothers, Vinal, Frank and Carl; half brother, Avin and a half sister, Janet; mother-in-law, Karen Shrang and her fianc‚, Arthur Burgess. He is loved and will be sadly missed by all. A gathering for friends and family will be held 2-5 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Steve’s mother-in-law’s home, 69 Grant Road in Sangerville.
