BOW, N.H. and BUCKSPORT – Susan Keene Arnold, 54, of Woodhill Road, died Sunday, July 16, 2006, at the Hospice House in Concord, N.H. She was born in Malden, Mass., the daughter of Chester F. and Jeanne M. (Gordon) Keene. Susan grew up in Millinocket and later moved to Bucksport where she graduated from Bucksport High School in 1969. Susan was a 1973 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. Susan moved to Bow, N.H. in 1997 and had worked at Hannaford Brothers since 1998. She was an avid reader, loved craftwork and enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots games. Susan enjoyed spending time with her family and attended all her children’s sporting events. She is survived by her husband, Daniel F. Arnold of Bow, N.H.; one son, Matthew D. Arnold of Medford, Mass.; one daughter, Sarah D. Arnold of Bow, N.H.; one brother, Gordon “Donnie” Keene of Orland; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Stone and her husband, Bill, of Winthrop and Jane Houle and her husband, Brian, of Manchester, N.H.; one brother-in-law, John Arnold and his wife, Colleen, of Virginia Beach, Va.; and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Bucksport. Services were also held Saturday, July 22, at the Bennett Funeral Home, Concord, N.H.
