SURRY – Susan Peck House, 77, died May 1, 2006, after a long illness at her residence. She was born Oct. 22, 1928, in Milford, Conn., the daughter of Henry and Marjorie (Clarke) Peck. Susan graduated from Laurelton Hall in Milford, Conn. and Westhampton College, Richmond, Va. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Ellsworth. She was a volunteer at the Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John “Jack” House; their two children, John C. House PhD and wife, Cynthia, of Knoxville, Tenn., Barbara House Hebb of Zurich, Switzerland; grandchildren, John S. House and wife, Eva, Anne Raustol and husband, Ole, and their children, Isabel and Espen, Seth Turnbow, Cpl. Michael O’Bryant, USMC; and brother, Robert Peck of Clinton, Conn. Services will be announced by the family at a later date. Contributions in Susan’s memory may be made to the Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, care of Building Fund, 50 Union St., Ellsworth, ME 04605.
